I am writing to share our MH2 Donor Recognition Booklet with you. Inside this Recognition Booklet, you will read inspiring stories of the “House that Love Built” and recognition of what you have made possible through your giving. We are proud of what we could do -- with your support – to“birth” MH2 into existence. Our gratitude for all you have made possible and the home you have built is immeasurable.
In October, we mailed you an extraordinary request asking you to consider making a one-time gift or pledge, above and beyond your normal annual donations, to support the new Malta House (MH2) and help us reach our final goal of $4.5 million. We are so close to our goal!
I'm writing you today with a full heart. Last night, after months away, the Malta House Board of Directors convened for an informal meeting at MH2, our new home. It's almost unrecognizable inside from where we started and I was thrilled to see how energized our volunteer leadership is about how far we've come.
The Campaign Leadership Team had its meeting last Wednesday by conference call to review a stream-lined and updated plan and timetable for the final phases of the campaign. The Leadership Team agreed to place campaign activity on hold due to the COVID 19 virus and use this time to plan and prepare for our next steps. We will keep you informed as we move forward.
Over the past 20 years, Malta House has served more than 600 mothers and babies through its residential program and many more with its community programs. At the end of the year, Malta House 2 will open at a former convent behind All Saints School, which will allow the organization to assist more than 1,500 mothers and babies over the next 20 years.
