Founded in 1998, Malta House is poised for growth and is looking for someone who wants to make a measurable, meaningful impact every day in the lives of our most vulnerable in the community. The Front Desk Receptionist /Administrative Assistant serves as a first point of contact for all constituents and plays a lead role in maintaining positive client engagement and donor cultivation.
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner; provide excellent hospitality services via the telephone and in-person to ensure client, donor, partner and constituent satisfaction.
Manage traffic in and around the building, ensure all guests sign in and out, adhere to health and safety guidelines and follow all safety protocols
Answer calls, messages, faxes, and handle incoming and outgoing mail to ensure all correspondences are sent and received in a timely manner
Enter all monetary and in-kind gifts using DonorPerfect
Issue all acknowledgment letters in timely manner (with 24 hours of receipt of gift)
Schedule and lead quarterly emergency evacuation plan
Review and execute the daily duties assigned by the Executive Director of Development Manager
Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills to include the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish.
Education, Skills, Experience:
Minimum of an Associate’sDegree
Minimum 3-5 year’s relevant experience and ability to work in fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to relate well with clients, collaborators and stakeholders
Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
